I had the opportunity to congratulate Sgt. Maj. Brad Kasal, of Afton, at the Statehouse after legislators recognized Mr. Kasal for his bravery in Iraq. The Iowa Marine was severely injured while helping to save fellow Marines during a battle in Fallujah and is up for the Congressional Medal of Honor - our nation's highest combat medal.
