The Black Hawk County Drug Court, lead by Judge Thomas Bower (center), and his staff met with elected officials at the Statehouse on Tuesday to educate them about their work. The group talked with Black Hawk County legislators Senator Jeff Danielson (right) and Representative Bob Kressig (second from left). Drug courts, which help people with substance abuse problems, are considered extremely successful initiatives.
